I’ve got a thing for chairs - there, I’ve said it.   I’m building a bit of a collection too (much to my husband’s dismay).  Right now I’m on the hunt for a vintage tufted chair for our bedroom and I want to reupholster it in something fabulous - thinking velvet, thinking pink (sure hubby will be ok that…).

Seating in the bedroom is such an indulgence don’t you think? A beautiful chair just seems all that more special in a bedroom.  They add that extra layer of gorgeousness to a room, not to mention comfort.  A cosy spot to curl up and read a book…a place for intimacy and quite…but sometimes (if we are going to be completely honest here) bedroom chairs are perfect for throwing your clothes on at the end of the day (when the wardrobe seems that bit too far away).  Practical yet beautiful, below are some bedroom chairs I’ve spotted this week.

This is only a small bedroom but the butterfly chair is the perfect fit for a cosy nook -

The Ligne Roset classic Togo is both a design beauty  (especially in the electric blue) and oh so comfortable -

The bedroom of Kulchi’s Cassandra Karinksy features the strap leather chair from The Design Hunter and Tuareg Mat (both look brilliant with the Fiddle Leaf Fig).  Simple yet elegant -

I love the idea of a hanging  chair (try Mark Tuckey for similiar) in the bedroom especially with those lovely bay windows to gaze out of – of course you need the room to swing!

Less is more in this Paris apartment – white, calm and very European.  The vintage leather armchair perfectly complements the original wooden flooring -

Some boho chic, peacock chairs are back especially in bright pops of colour adding some cool funkiness and 70s glamour to this bedroom -

I’m a sucker for wingback chair’s (and velvet!) so this chair in Emily Henderson’s bedroom is divine in my book -

I hope I’ve inspired the chair lover in you…now on with the hunt for that tufted bedroom chair…
