I don't know about you but, as a self-confessed interiors junkie as well as working in the industry, I have sites, shops and places that I love to visit regularly for inspiration and ideas. Often I just gawp at beautiful fabrics, pics of someone's stunning home renovation or get real ideas for a project I'm working on - other times I'm after specific info about a product - often it's just about pure relaxation, my way to unwind.
There's no doubt I've picked up some of the best hints, ideas and tips from blogs and some awesome, creative and thought-provoking interiors websites.
I've been meaning for ages to share a few of my favourite "destinations" both online and around Sydney. I'm sure you'll know some, hopefully you'll find something new and please, please let me know about your favourite places too....

The Design Files - I'm sure lots of you will already be regular daily subscribers to this amazing, one-stop design blog written by Lucy Feagin,  an amazingly talented and knowledgeable Melbourne stylist and writer. Featuring a daily blog, guest interview, pics of amazing Australian homes, tips and ideas about everything design - it is just a godsend for people like me!

Wholelottalovely - Marie Nichols was over in Sydney last year working, styling and blogging and I became a devotee of her fabulous blog after seeing shots of her gorgeous and unqiue styling work in plenty of local mags. She's moved back to London now but I still love her site just as much. Her eclectic style focuses as much on recycling and re-creating and loving "old" and "pre-loved" as it does on the latest looks and designs and she makes contemporary and home-made work sooooooooo well together.

Table Tonic - "Global treasures for the modern bohemian" is the strapline on the homepage of this fabulous site. Set up last year by former magazine Creative editor & Sydneysider Louise Bell, Table Tonic is an online retailer of a gorgeous, internationally sourced range of homewares. Her blog is one of my absolute favourites - covering everything from her products, to global trends to her wonderful home and family (her kids are referred to as the mini-tonics!). A joy to read and a real inspiration (and her homewares are a perfect way to add some colour into your home). Have a look......
