So what’s your dream kitchen?  We are in the process of renovating ours so there’s been plenty of “kitchen talk” and bookmarking images for inspiration and ideas.  I spend pretty much (what feels like...) most of my life in the kitchen so I’ve got to get it right - right?

I’m not really sure what my “dream kitchen” is actually…I seem to change my mind quite frequently!  I do love vintage with an industrial edge although sometimes I look at images of Scandi “all white” kitchens or kitchens that are rustic with concrete flooring and I think mmmm maybe this is “the one”… see my dilemma?  With all this kitchen banter going on at HQ we’ve decided to put together our own list – all dreamy, all gorgeous (and all will probably send your heart beating with envy)!

Oh those floors…this is the Paris apartment of architect Joseph Dirand who is known for his minimalist style.  Here he’s cleverly balanced traditional details with modern elements -

It may be a narrow room but the high ceilings and abundance of natural light create a great sense of space.  It’s simple but it’s a lovely -

A truly gorgeous converted loft space in Amsterdam.  The internal courtyard, high ceiling and use of raw natural materials (not to mention that chandelier!) make this space utterly breathtaking -

Black + White - always a classic combination.  The lighting and bevelled subway tiles create interest and a modern vibe -

Wood and concrete work so well in kitchens as seen in this lovely Amsterdam canal house (designed by Piet- Jan van den Kommer) -

Steel grey cabinetry with custom made handles look great with the open wooden shelves and tiles with contrast grouting -

This was once a warehouse in Barcelona.  The bold monochromatic flooring is striking and works so well with the wood and black accents.  The room divider filled with bamboo is a trademark of the architect Egue y Seta, it would certainly make a great talking point!

This kitchen is a whitewash of loveliness – we love those kitchen stools and pendant lights!

The navy cabinets add a punch and depth to this otherwise neutral space -

We love the vintage feel of this kitchen (and that Aga!) -

Beautiful white washed floors with cabinets in reclaimed wood – just stunning! This one - via Remodelista - is from Nicky's home town London and definitely her personal favourite. A herb garden in the kitchen bench - how perfect? -
