Belle Magazine feature - 'Undercover Culture'

What do you get when you cross a talented Interior Design Editor, with quality upholstered bedroom furniture and fabric from a number of market-leading fabric houses? The answer - a very stylish five-page editorial feature in Belle Magazine!

To say we were thrilled to have been featured in Belle Magazine is a slight understatement. If you haven't already, make sure you pick up the February/March 2017 issue.

Here's what you'll be looking at

Production and styling for the feature 'Undercover Culture' was put together by Interiors Editor Lucy McCabe and photographed by Will Horner. Lucy chose 3 bedheads from our standard range and requested we customise 2 bedheads to achieve a specific look for the shoot. Her choice of fabric, along with modern geometric shapes and dramatic lighting created a distinct high end style and mood. "These bedtime stories tell of deeply restful sleeping spaces rich in pattern and colour", so states the magazine.

'Avalon' bedhead from BedNest upholstered in Misia 'Miami Playground' velvet from the Textile Company.

Our 'Avalon' bedhead's round profile oozes style and when paired with this unique geometric fabric and colour, creates a perfectly elegant place to rest one's self for the night.

'Manhattan' bedhead from BedNest upholstered in Antoine d'Albiousse 'Touch Me' velvet in Coq de Roche and piping in Nattier from Boyac.

Our 'Manhattan' bedhead was next to feature. Upholstered in a silky orange velvet and uniquely detailed with two lines of piping, this shot highlights the design's versatility and makes for a cool, contemporary piece of furniture.

'Paddo' bedhead from BedNest upholstered in Brochier 'Morgano' silk/wool blend fabric in Smeraldo from South Pacific Fabrics.

Our 'Paddo' bedhead aka our 'blank canvas', can be dressed up or down depending on the fabric chosen. Lucy's fabric choice created a truly striking focal point, picking up various colours from other styled elements in the shot.

Modified 'Oscar' bedhead from BedNest upholstered in George Spencer Designs 'Strie' linen/silk fabric from Tigger Hall.

The 'Oscar' bedhead showcases clean lines and strong angles. Opt for horizontal or vertical lines, the choice is yours but the end result in this shot was truly stunning.

Modified 'Paddo' bedhead from BedNest upholstered in Kelly Wearstler for Lee Jofa 'Chalet' embroidered linen and rayon fabric in Dusk/Black from Elliott Clarke.

The fabric selection and modified 'Paddo' bedhead that extended beyond the bed base, worked together to create a standout centrepiece in the final shot.

We love the delicious textures, colours and patterns used across all the images in this feature and the modern vibe they've created. Hats off to Lucy and Will for creating such a beautifully themed shoot and for showcasing the versatility of some of our designs.
