It's All About Us

We've "talked" before about the fabulous blog Peep My Style. Well, it's the brain child of the very talented Claudia - style hunter, writer and very cool chick! Claudia joined forces with Hannah Blackmore Photography to work with us on our recent shoot for Adore Home Magazine and Peep a bit of her Style onto some of our new designs. We love the results, hope you do too!

We were excited enough last week to be featured in the Adore magazine blog....the latest issue of this inspiring, utterly readable and beautifully put-together magazine is just out and guess what? Yup - we're on the front cover.

Our latest BedNest shoot was a whole heap of fun and we're so delighted with the results. You've already seen a few of the images (including that amazing shot from the Adore Blog) and you'll see more in the new issue of Adore that's out this weekend...

Of course, there are plenty in our BedNest range too - showcasing our new bedhead designs Maddison and Oxford, our 2 new stools Oscar and Hugo and our gorgeous Florence bed.

We love the beautiful, fresh and natural feel of our new images and it is all down to the enormous talent of the wonderful Hannah

We're chuffed to bits to have been asked to help create a "bedroom styling" feature for Adore magazine's summer edition (out this Saturday).

It's been a while since I updated you on our recent press activity. We are so lucky with all of the fantastic coverage that we receive.

While the blogs and online features are so important to us and we LOVE them, I am still so old-fashioned and do love nothing more than curling up with my favourite Interiors print mags once a month. Flicking through the pages and getting ideas, seeing what's new and just gawping at some amazing houses and interiors as well as reading interviews with fellow industry folk always leaves me inspired, often envious and always relaxed. It seems I'm not alone in this as a feature in a print mag always leads to a BIG spike in emails from our lovely BedNesters - it seems you love a mag too!

Home Beautiful July 2012

There just does seem to be a real synergy between readers of Real Living and BedNest. The stunning shot of our Paddo bedhead in the current (April) edition has created so much interest among BedNesters and even brought a whole lot of new BedNesters to our "door".

The gorgeous styling shows how easy it is to create a luxe, boutique hotel look in any BedNest with some wow factor linen and an upholstered bedhead. Just what we've been saying for years!

The Über-stylish Claudia featured our Tribecca bedhead the other day in her fabulous blog "Peep my style".

Seems like she's not alone in loving this very feminine and elegant design - it was our best-seller over the long weekend.

Yesterday our gorgeous photographer Enzo sent me this pic from our shoot in December - featuring the gorgeous Nantucket bedhead and my (equally gorgeous we think) baby BedNest!

It just made me laugh and remember some of the fun we've had over the last couple of years doing shoots etc, so I had to share it with my lovely BedNesters today. A peak behind the scenes if you like..

It also shows how our upholstered bedheads are completely free-standing - something we get asked about a lot.

Oh and it shows the beautiful cross-stitch work on the Nantucket, see the pic below for a close-up.

I do hope 2012 brings you all happiness, health, fun and a gorgeous nest in which to lay your head each night!

It may be January and the big "go slow" in Sydney but here at BedNest HQ we've been anything but slow (although we did have a deliciously slow 2 weeks of holiday over Christmas). Our designs were launched just before that Santa man arrived and have taken off brilliantly. 

So for those who haven't been into the shop for a while here are some pics of our 3 new BedNest bedheads. We are totally in love with all 3 of course - which one's for you?

We were utterly thrilled to bits to be the subject of a 2 page article in the Herald Sun Melbourne's Home section on the weekend of 9th/10th July.
The lovely team at the Herald Sun interviewed me a while ago and I had hoped for a little editorial corner on a "what's new" page.
Little did I know that BedNest would be splashed in a riot of colour across 2 pages with lots of wonderful product and lifestyle shots and one slightly "iffy" photo of yours truly sprawled across a bed!
The article was so well-written and thorough and our Melbourne business has just gone crazy.

Thankyou, thankyou Herald Sun - for such fabulous publicity and for reminding me that I once had a waistline (now very pregnant with bub no 3!)!
