How to make room for all your new Christmas loot

The Christmas festivities are behind us and life is slowly and inevitably getting back to normality. All those presents under the tree that had been taunting the family have been opened and by now the torn wrapping paper tossed into the recycling bin. That was the easy bit! You now need to be sure you have enough room to store all your new gifts as well as the decorations. The last thing we need is a home that feels like it's closing on you and feeling cluttered as opposed to cool and collected.

Perhaps you can even donate some of your gently used items. If you have old clothes that you no longer wear or have outgrown, or if you have baby clothing but no baby on the way, then now is a good time to part ways. 

Overall, this process should include both Christmas decorations and regular decorations. Anything that is taking up space and no longer appreciated should go!
